FOUNDERS
The Mane Society is owned by sister duo Lulu and Jordie. Pre-Mane Society days, the girls worked doing hair extensions as a side hustle. One day the girls realised that they enjoyed doing hair extensions far more than their uni studies and decided to open a salon.
In the beginning the vision for the salon was for it to be an extension destination, however, since finding such incredible colourists, the salon specialises in colour as well.
The Mane Society is now six years old and has definitely found its feet. Mane is a place where you can come and unwind and leave loving your hair more than ever. Your stylist will always prioritise the integrity of your hair and recommend products within your price range which will make a difference to your hair quality. The girls value client experience just as much as the hair result. When you come to Mane you can be assured you will be wined and dined and treated like a friend.

At The Mane Society we do things slightly differently. We are open to our staff working either as contractors or employees. We do this because we know that life isn’t a one size fits all and we want everyone to flourish.
We encourage our colourists to work as contractors as we feel like this is the most rewarding way to work. Working as a contractor comes with extra responsibility but more freedom and rewards.
We are currently booked to the brim and we are looking for more colourists to join our team. If you think you want to be part of the team but feel as though you need up-skilling to do so, please be up front and say this to us! We love honest and forward people and we love nothing more than someone who wants to up their game.
